Evolution Recon MK18 Mod 1 10.8" BB

The Recon line is engineered to deliver high performance, precision, and absolute reliability. The Recon is built for the most demanding players who expect the best from their gear in every game scenario – from CQB to the toughest and most extreme outdoor operations.

Advanced design, solid construction

Each replica in the Recon series is built on a full metal base but features upper and lower receivers made from Carbontech™, a high-tech polymer that is lightweight yet ultra-resistant  for unmatched durability without compromising on weight.

The Recon comes equipped with:

• New Evolution Cargo Stock™, designed in Italy by Evolution.

• CNC-machined Aluminum handguard, for extreme durability, finished with Duralite™ for enhanced scratch and abrasion resistance.

• Tool-less Access Grip, TAG system™ for tool-free motor access.

• Ultralite Carbontech™ body.

To further enhance durability, the Evolution Cargo Stock™ slides on a tough aluminum buffer tube instead of the standard plastic one used in most products of this category.

Attention to detail is evident in every component: precision finishes, internal reinforcements, laser markings, steel sling mounts, and integrated flip-up sights. The construction is rock-solid and wobble-free – even after extended use, the Recon will feel as solid as day one.

Professional-grade internals for consistent performance

Under the body, the Recon rifles feature a reinforced aluminum gearbox with 8mm self-lubricating steel bushings, PM steel gears with delayer for high ROF, a high-speed piston with full steel teeth, and a spring guide with forged steel core. The rotary hop-up system allows precise tuning while maintaining shot-to-shot consistency with any BB weight.

Quick, tool-free access to the motor compartment and easy spring guide extraction without removing the gearbox make future upgrades and customizations effortless.

The 6.01 precision barrel with flared muzzle ensures tight and accurate shots.

Plenty of space for high-performance batteries

The new ergonomically-designed Evolution Cargo Stock™, engineered in Italy, is one of the most versatile and user-friendly stocks on the market. Two side compartments triple the available space for batteries, in addition to standard Li-Po or LiFe ones. The rotating buttplate allows battery swaps without ever detaching the plate from the stock, simplifying the operation.

Despite the generous battery space, the stock remains compact and free of unwanted play.

More Safety

Lithium batteries (LiPo, Li-ion) can be very dangerous in the event of a short circuit or if the wires are damaged. Most users tend to underestimate this risk. The new Evolution Cargo Stock features a built-in safety system that automatically lifts the buttplate slightly if the wires are not positioned correctly, preventing them from being pinched.

A no-compromise magazine

The Recon comes standard with the Matrixx™ 140 BB mid-cap magazine – widely considered one of the best mags on the market. Its dotted texture not only allows full customization but also provides a solid, reliable grip, even with gloves on. The specially designed front section near the mag-well acts as a firm pull point for ultra-fast reloads under stress.

Its tempered steel spring ensures consistent feeding, even with heavy BBs and extremely high ROFs in advanced custom builds.
