Specna Arms 11.1V 1200mAh 20/35C LiPo battery for the T-Connect AK replica

Specna Arms, in response to customer expectations, offers a wide range of high-performance LiPo batteries to suit every user’s needs – whether you’re looking for a battery for the stock compartment, the stock or a dummy laser sight – you’ll find all this and much more in our range, enabling even longer playtime.

Lithium-ion-polymer (LiPo) packs are the successors to the well-known lithium-ion (LiIon) packs. The main advantage of LiPo batteries is undoubtedly their capacity-to-size ratio. They are very compact whilst maintaining very high current output, which allows you to select the right pack for practically any AEG replica. They do not suffer from the memory effect. They can be charged very frequently without needing to be fully discharged first. Frequent charging is beneficial for this type of battery.

It is important to remember not to discharge a LiPo pack below 3V per cell, nor to overcharge it above 4.2V per cell. Another advantage of LiPo packs is their low self-discharge rate. An unused pack loses around 3–5% of its energy per month. You should keep an eye on the pack, as very long-term storage may result in discharge below the permissible minimum value (3V per cell) and irreversible chemical reactions may occur, which can lead to a deterioration in the pack’s performance, including permanent damage and, in extreme cases, ignition. An unused LiPo pack should be charged to an average of around 70%.

When used correctly, the service life of LiPo packs averages 500–700 cycles. An important consideration is the temperature at which LiPo packs can operate. Unlike other batteries, LiPo cells perform well at low temperatures. However, they should be charged at room temperature. To keep LiPo batteries in good condition, they should be balanced during charging using the service plug, which is fitted to most LiPo packs (a good LiPo charger has a built-in balancer).
